McFee Park is a park in Farragut Tennesee. They share paved walking trails, athletic fields, a playground, and a splash pad as offerings to this community for use. The Town’s newest park is a 26-acre multi-use facility featuring green elements including solar panels, permeable pavers, LED lighting, rain gardens, and natural light in the restrooms.
This park also offers many other amenities like an ADA-accessible lighted playground, lighted walking trails, splash pad, two lighted rectangular fields, two picnic pavilions with grills, and two restrooms. The two fields are great for large activities the first field is around 195 feet by 330 feet and the second is around 75 feet by 125 feet. Many guys enjoy being with friends and/or teams to play football, soccer, or other sports that require large areas. Biking, bird searching, disc golf, fishing, hiking, paddling, rock climbing, running, walking, skateboarding, and wildflower searching are all people favorites along the nature trails.
Knoxville’s Urban Wilderness is a thrilling outdoor adventure area where you can either hike, bike, climb, paddle, or just roam around in the woods – all inside the heart of the city. This encompasses over 50 miles of trails and greenways that will connect you to a beautiful nature center, pristine lakes, historic sites, exciting quarries, adventure playgrounds, five city parks, a world-class bike park, and a 500-acre wildlife area. There’s an adventure for everyone! They encompass 7 different recreational areas connected by trails each with special activities. Once you’ve completed all the trails, present the form along with a check or credit card payment of $10 to Legacy Parks Foundation to receive the Urban Wilderness Patch and a certificate just for you.
