Horse Haven Of Tennessee is an animal protection organization in Lenoir City, Tennessee. Their mission is to rescue, rehab, and rehome Tennessee’s abandoned and abused equine through programs of shelter, adoption, and education.

Horse Haven is the only horse rescue that serves all 95 counties in TN. They want to present a safe environment where certain animals can be rehabilitated and then eventually re-homed! Having won many awards, they are verified by the Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries (GFAS), Animal Care and Control Association, National Animal Care and Control Association, and Homes for Horses Coalition. They have been running this business with the care of horse health since 1999.

Many different programs are held to provide care for the animals that have been left or neglected and in need of rescue. Fundraisers and events help them raise awareness and resources to save more animals, anyone can volunteer to help in any aspect of this.

Since its formation, Horse Haven Of Tennessee has cared for more than 1,200 horses and still remains as the largest nonprofit horse welfare organization assisting the entire state of Tennessee. After these horses have been healed and are in a stable condition, they are able to be adopted through a trustworthy process to make sure they will be going into a safe and clean environment.
